Head of Accounting

Job Description

Mavad Azin Kimia, a leading company in the Commerce industry since 2010, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Accounting based in Tehran. We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance, accounting, and banking. The ideal candidate will manage our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control
- Conduct audits and prepare audit reports
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards and organizational policies
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support operational goals

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
