Job Description

Job Title: Head of Accounting

An active company in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry is looking to hire a Head of Accounting to complete its finance team with the following qualifications:


Requirements and Skills:

1. Full proficiency in currency revaluation and foreign currency accounting
2. Familiarity with the Comprehensive Trade System and laws related to export and import
3. Proficiency in accounting for export companies and related processes
4. Proficiency in taxpayers’ system, system 169, and value-added tax (VAT)
5. Mastery of account closing processes, accounting standards, and preparation of interim and final financial statements
6. Knowledge of labor laws and social security regulations
7. Experience participating in tax dispute resolution committees
8. Proficiency in Excel and advanced reporting skills
9. Familiarity with the English language
10. Ability to manage and lead the accounting team, supervise internal controls, and provide managerial reports
11. Teamwork spirit, responsibility, and high adaptability
12. Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher
13. At least 8 years of work experience
14. Location: Tehran
