Job Description

This role will work on all stages of the book creation process from conception through design and proofing. This is a fantastic opportunity that provides an opportunity for growth and the ability to create book for a wide range of bestselling commercial educational and technical titles. Specific responsibilities include: Setting up templates, designing layouts, routing materials within deadlines, gathering files for the printer, marking-up for the Production department, and checking color before final proofing. Preparing jacket and cover mechanicals from creation to final production. Working with illustrators, photographers, photo stock agencies, and freelancers. Providing requested materials to internal departments. Archiving completed jobs and creating JPEGs for the Marketing and Publicity teams

Requirements

Please apply if you meet the following minimum requirements: 1- 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience in graphic design 2- Minimum of 6 months’ prior design experience 3- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills 4- Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently 5- Strong organizational skills 6- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment 7- Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Reporting to : Managing Director Working hours : 8am-5pm Gross monthly base salary : 20,000,000 IRR
