Job Description
We are looking to recruit an International Purchasing Manager. Candidates must be able to: - Plan, organize and coordinate all foreign purchase affairs such as sourcing, correspondence, negotiation, ordering, contracting, custom clearance and etc. - Develop and implement foreign purchase and contract management instructions, policies and procedures. - Prepare purchase orders, request bid proposals and review requisitions for goods and services. - Research , evaluate and select foreign suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the suppliers' reputation and history - Negotiate, renegotiate and administer contracts with foreign suppliers, vendors and other representatives. - Analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. - Plan and coordinate all activities regarding custom clearance. - Maintain records of goods ordered and received.. - Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability. - Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- University degree in Business, economics or related fields (preferably masters degree). - At least 5 years experience as a foreign purchase supervisor/ manager. - Comprehensive knowledge of foreign procurement processes, sourcing, correspondence, negotiating, ordering, contracting, custom releasing and etc. - Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. - Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, pro actively, dynamism and enthusiasm nature. - English proficiency and computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office.
