Job Description

  • Control and follow up purchasing process from A-Z.
  • Find new suppliers and evaluate them based on price, quality, service, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
  • Documents control and making sure all required information and documents are in place.
  • Pursue obtaining the necessary licenses for import.
  • Provide relevant reporting (e.g. track savings per project) to project management with deep knowledge of the suppliers, and the environmental impact.
  • Identify, check, and evaluate the potential suppliers in terms of quality, delivery time, and compliance with the organization’s needs.
  • Make offers, request prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Conduct the negotiations in order to receive samples of products from suppliers in compliance with the desired and defined requirements and send them to related units (research and development and quality) for their evaluation.
  • Perform the required activities in order to prepare and conclude contracts with suppliers.
  • Prepare and present the technical and specialized reports related to purchase records to superiors and update the prices.
  • Create an archive to register the purchases and suppliers’ records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in foreign purchasing.
  • Purchase techniques and contract management knowledge.
  • Negotiation and teamwork skills.
  • Basic legal and financial knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commercial Management or equivalent technical fields from a reputable university.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Ideal age: 27 to 35 years old. 
  • Familiarity with SAP software is an advantage.
