Foreign Commercial Manager (Hands-on / Operational)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Foreign Commercial Manager with a Hands-on mindset. This is not a purely administrative or oversight role. We require a leader who is fully involved in day-to-day operations, possessing the technical expertise to perform all import tasks (e.g., NTSW order registration, customs issues) independently. You will act as a Lead-by-Example professional who stands ready to step into operational roles during critical stages. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end import chain, from sourcing and proforma issuance to final customs clearance and warehouse delivery.
Directly engage in critical operational processes, including NTSW registration, FX transfer coordination, and resolving complex customs or banking disputes.
Monitor currency fluctuations, optimize procurement costs, and manage international logistics to minimize demurrage and storage fees.
Final review and audit of all trade documents (PI, BL, CO, etc.) to ensure 100 percent compliance with customs regulations.
Train, mentor, and supervise the commercial team while establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational excellence.
Provide executive KPI reports and actionable insights to reduce procurement lead time and overall costs.
Requirements:
6-8 plus years of specialized experience in foreign trade, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Hands-on Attitude: A strong operational mindset, prepared to engage directly in day-to-day tasks, with full technical capability to execute all import processes independently.
In-depth knowledge of Incoterms 2020, customs regulations, banking protocols, and the NTSW portal.
Professional fluency in English (business negotiation, correspondence, and contracts).
Result-oriented, precise, and capable of managing supply chain crises under pressure.
