Job Description

Sandroos Sanat Company is looking for an experienced and dedicated electrical engineer to assist with the design of electrical equipment and systems in our Process Analyzer Systems in a close cooperation and coordination with other engineering disciplines like Process, Instrumentation and Mechanical. The successful candidate will be responsible for design and calculation of electrical equipment and systems such as Power Distribution Panels, UPS and non-UPS distribution systems, Network and Control Units, Power and Instrumentation Cables, JB’s and LCS etc. also to take off an accurate MTO and technically supervise on purchasing of the electrical equipment and systems. A bachelor’s or master degree in Electrical Engineering, at least two to three years of experience and good English language skill is required. Electrical engineers work in an office environment during regular business hours, though they spend most of their time at their office in front of their computers or in internal meetings with other departments. Occasionally they travel to consult with vendors and/or clients or to inspect the goods manufactured by sub vendors; they sometimes work overtime, especially when commuting and as the deadlines approaches. An individual needs several hard and soft skills to become a successful electrical engineer, including: • Task Management: electrical engineers must be able to prioritize the workloads, needs and challenges of other team members. The ability to remain organized allows an electrical engineer to make decisions quickly and help their team stay on schedule. • Problem-solving: As electrical engineers are responsible for the design, calculation and engineering aspects of a project, they must be good at developing appropriate solutions for problems as they arise. Electrical engineers should be able to gather all the data and facts related to an obstacle to create an informed solution. • Decision making: Electrical engineers must be good at making proper decisions in different aspects of their responsibilities as stated here above. • Communication: Electrical engineers must be excellent at communicating with other professionals, such as other engineers, senior management, project engineers, team members and sub-vendors. • Knowledge: Because electrical engineers are ultimately responsible for the design, calculations, material take off and assessment of electrical equipment and systems during procurement phase, they should have sufficient experience and knowledge in their profession. An electrical engineer works as a team during the entire life cycle of an inquiry or a project. This professional ensures the design, consistency and functionality of the electrical part of a technical offer or an in hand project throughout its execution. Electrical engineers typically perform the following tasks: • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring all assigned duties and jobs • Preparation of electrical engineering documents like Power Distribution Drawings, Instrumentation and Signals, Control Systems (PLC) and Network Drawings • Preparation of an accurate and detailed MTO as a feed for procurement department • Technical supervision and assessment of quality for electrical equipment and systems in a project

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering • At least 2-3 years of experience as “Electrical Engineer” • Good knowledge of English, especially in reading of specialized texts • Being professional in following software: ACAD, E-Plan • Ability to work in deadlines and being multi tasks • Team worker • Highly organized, detail oriented and works with a high level of accuracy
