-Involved In the repair and maintenance of lifting equipment and electronic handheld devices, refurbishment and modernisation projects, installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes.
-have good knowledge of Electrical Installation and up to date regulations
-Conversant with both predictive and planned maintenance techniques
-Ability to use all types of hand tools, power tools, and mechanic tools
Requirements
-University qualifications: BSc or MSc in Electrical engineering
-A full understanding of health and safety and the ability to work safely
-Experience of heavy industrial equipment (e.g. overhead cranes, AC, DC)
-Previous experience of working on overhead cranes
-Willing to work shifts and unsociable hours
-Ability to work individually or as part of a team
-Good fault finding skills on both D.C and A.C controls-Experience of working with D.C controls
-Previous experience in a heavy engineering environment
-Previous experience working in a hot work environment
-Language skill: Fluent spoken and written English
