Job Description

The objective of the role: The Finance [Accounting] Business Partner - in our organization called Finance Ecosystem Excellence Partner [EEP] - will leverage his/her broad expertise in the E2E Finance operations to create business value through simplification, automation, and centralization of our processes and systems. This role will collaborate closely with internal partners and external stakeholders in the ecosystem and above country network, gaining a deep understanding of their needs to transform the customer experience through tailored, streamlined, and seamless financial processes and services. Organization: The Finance [Accounting] Business Partner will be a member of Roche Pars Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain (FPS) organization and will report directly to the Head of Finance. Main Responsibilities: ● Be the key point of contact in accounting for the entire organization, including our shared service center and HQ. ● Drive simplification, automation/digitalization, and centralization of financial and accounting processes. ● Lead Finance month and year-end closing and reporting activities. ● Responsible for multiple accounting activities, for instance, but not limited to:  Cross-charges between Roche Group Affiliates.  Reimbursement of employee expenses (e.g. traveling and entertainment).  Accounting clearing (SSO, Vendor, etc).  Sustainability report.  Cash Flow Forecast and FX exchange.  Manual postings and others. ● Prepare various financial reports and analyses to support business decision-making. ● Accountable for Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR), group policies and guidelines, and local statutory and legal requirements within agreed service timelines. ● Be a key point of contact for audit and compliance-related matters (e.g. internal, SSO, tax). ● Take part, in and lead finance and business operations projects. ● Support junior accountant with A/P and other accounting activities (vendor payment process, reporting, clearing, reconciliation, documentation, and compliance with the financial processes). ● Provide support to tax, business analytics, procurement, and supply chain team whenever needed.

Requirements

● At least 5 years of working experience in finance/audit. Additional experience in Procurement and/or supply chain and logistics is a plus. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business. ● Proficient in English to collaborate internally and across the broader Roche enterprise. ● Strong E2E business process area understanding and deep process knowledge as well as technical expertise for his/her dedicated area. ● Strong technical competencies in SAP S4 HANA FI/CO, Material Ledger, MM, PP. ● Proven experience working in a BPM organization, any methodological skills such as agile ways of working (Scrum), continuous. Improvement is a plus. ● Proactive in taking ownership, ability to connect the dots, and leverage the network to innovate. ● Personal purpose and a strong passion for operational excellence that creates value and impact on the patients and the ecosystem. ● Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, listening, and system thinking skills. ● Enterprise thinking where you can collaborate beyond boundaries and borders, in order to bring the best possible outcomes to both the local health environment, and more broadly, across the global organization.
