Job Description

The incumbent as the digital transformation manager at JTI Iran, will lead the transformation and integration of our digital initiatives, aligning them closely with the company's strategic goals. The role extends beyond traditional digital marketing, focusing on holistic digital transformation across the business. The incumbent will lead a digital steering committee comprising key figures from IT and other departments to ensure all digital efforts are cohesive, compliant, and aligned with our broader business objectives. Also, his/her responsibilities include driving digital upskilling, enhancing data efficiencies, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to support JTI's objectives within the constraints of the tobacco industry's regulatory environment.

Areas of Responsibility:

Digital Strategy and Transformation:

  • Lead the development and implementation of JTI's digital strategy, focusing on integrating digital initiatives across the business to support both adult consumers and customer engagement within regulatory constraints.
  • Chair the digital steering committee, ensuring alignment and coordination of digital initiatives across departments, including IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Corporate Affairs, and Legal.
  • Drive digital maturity and upskilling across the organization, leveraging best practices and collaboration with the global digital team.

Customer and Trade Engagement:

  • Enhance the customer digital platforms in liaison with responsible teams to improve omnichannel trade engagement and customer insights through integrated data management and analytics.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize customer engagement management as a core digital activity, supporting the sales force with digital tools to enhance trade supply effectiveness.

Data Management and Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee the integration and management of big data across functions to enhance decision-making processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Apply data-driven approaches to all market initiatives, adjusting operations and distribution strategies and execution in line with digital insights.

People and Digital Literacy:

  • Implement digital literacy training for key employees and decision-makers, enhancing digital skills across the organization to support the digital transformation agenda.

ASP Preparation/Project and Budget Management:

  • Develop a digital strategy for annual strategic planning, define objectives and KPIs, and monitor tools.
  • Successful budget management and efficient spending allocation.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.

Work Experience and Competencies:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in digital transformation; 2 years of experience in a managerial/leadership role.
  • Strong experience in developing Digital strategies and successfully delivering digital campaigns and programs.
  • Strong planning, numerical, and analytical skills; structured approach & self-disciplined.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt easily and rapidly in a changing and complex environment.
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude, team player, high self-motivation, and strong commitment.
  • High collaboration spirit with a passion for sharing/implementation of best practices.

Languages and Computer Skills:

  • Fluent Farsi and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced Office skills, Power BI, and digital design framework.
