Job Description

The Project Coordinator prepares reports to the Project Manager as well as customers’ contact person (s) is accountable to raise CRs, helping to ensure the delivery and completion of capital teams’ tasks on time and within scheduled plan and for being responsive to requests from operations, engineering, and all concerned parties during which a project is going on. This is achieved by efficient use of time through good organizational skills, diligent record keeping, and by resolving issues and questions during the course of a project in an expeditious manner. The Project Coordinator, serving in high level support role, is accountable for supporting the capital project team to deliver and complete capital projects on time and within scheduled plan. • Assists in providing basic planning, design and engineering support. • Coordinates construction activities including contact with customer(s) contact persons, field observation or construction work for compliance with scheduled plans. • Obtains job numbers for projects, completes and submits permit applications, prepares necessary orders as well as submitting them in customers’ system on time and of course in appropriate manner. • Inspects work of team members as required. • Prepares project status reports and project schedules. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Works under general supervision.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Fluently be able to speak in English language and communicate with Customers’ foreign contact persons. • University degree in Bachelor of Science • Two years of experience in telecom implementation projects or related field. • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to be in touch with customers’ project members. • Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Working Knowledge: Principles and practices of project coordination, safe work practices. Ability to: Analyze and input data on project schedules; communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, professional associates and with the general public.
