Job Description
- Plan, perform and coordinate all international commercial affairs, such as sourcing, correspondence, negotiation, ordering, contract management, customs clearance, etc. - Prepare purchase orders, write bid proposals, and check inquiries for goods and services
- Research and evaluate foreign suppliers based on pricing, quality, product range, services, customer support, availability, reliability, distribution capacities, and supplier’s reputation and history
- Analyze price offers, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and assist in managing contracts with foreign suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
- Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time; resolve problems related to undelivered goods
- Confer with staff, users and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
- Maintain and review electronic or manual records of prices, purchased items, costs, delivery reports, product performance, and inventories
- Perform and supervise all export activities to ensure safe and smooth process of customs operations
- Ensure all export documents are duly set before shipment release
- Manage customs brokerage companies with the settled KPI’s and have periodic meetings
