Job Description
- Monthly actual vs forecast report for overheads with commentary for major variances vs forecast.
- Follow up on variances with stakeholders to ensure all overheads being incurred are captured and budgeted.
- Ensure P2P process discipline to maintain visibility on committed spending to avoid unexpected costs at year-end.
- Prepare HFM/BPC reports relating to Production OHs and compile off-line reports and commentaries.
- Prepare monthly report of per mill variable cost and follow up/investigate changes against actuals.
- Ensure compliance with global policies around CAPEX and monitor actual spending vs budget.
- Review the monthly CAPEX file for Ops prepared by corporate finance and track vs forecast.
- Highlight any potential CAPEX overspending immediately.
- Report the budgeted CAPEX numbers at each reporting period after aligning with the operations team for CAPEX requirements.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality submission of all periodic reporting requirements to FLT, area and region within the given deadline.
Requirements
- A university graduate.
- Business knowledge.
- Two years of experience in finance.
- Knowledge of accounting and costing principles.
- Technical skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Excellent computer user.
- Analytical skills.
