Job Description

The buyer of non-production materials and services provides timely purchasing of non-production materials, marketing materials and other goods and services at optimal price and quality. The buyer organizes preparation and performs purchases, and monitors delivery and receipt of goods/services in accordance with agreements, Contracts and Purchase Orders. The work of the buyer is guided by this job description, instructions of the line supervisor and Company’s Policies and Procedures. Main responsibilities: • To provide support to internal customers/stakeholders for preparation of any necessary contracts, obtaining required approvals and proper execution of contracts/agreements of non-production materials and services in accordance with policies & procedures, monitors the conditions and obligations of suppliers and companies under existing contracts/agreements. • To prepare all necessary documentation, both in Persian & English and conducts tenders/bidding for the supply of non-production materials/services in full accordance with Company’s rules and principles, Policies, work instructions and the Code of Conduct, providing internal customers/stakeholders with the purchasing/procurement service which ensures best combination of quality, cost, delivery time, payment terms and quantity. • To monitor the performance of the contract/agreement and supervises the timely receipt of purchased non-production materials/services and abidance with payment terms in accordance with the terms specified in the Purchase order. • To provide and upload relevant and reliable data about purchasing activities into database and updates this on a regular basis. • To examine both internal and external markets of non-production materials/services and analyze the information gathered with the aim of determining the most profitable opportunities for the Company with non-production materials/services, suppliers and purchases. To inform internal departments and sub-departments about the presence of any new and more effective materials/services/suppliers on the local/regional market.

Requirements

• Fluency in Written and Spoken English • Skilled with Microsoft Office • Good communication and negotiation skills • Self Motivated • University qualifications: BS in Commercial, Business or related fields is preferable • Other certifications: Having any certificate related to Commercial affairs is an advantage
