About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical, forward thinking, and business savvy Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to lead corporate strategy development and drive long term value creation across our client’s Energy and Industrial Holdings Group. This executive role requires deep strategic insight, strong analytical expertise, and extensive experience in navigating complex, project-driven, and investment-oriented environments.
As CSO, you will shape the company’s strategic direction, evaluate major investment and development opportunities, and ensure alignment between long term corporate objectives and the performance of subsidiary companies. Working closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors, you will provide clear, evidence based recommendations that support enterprise level decision-making and strengthen the group’s position in highly competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Corporate Alignment:
- Lead the development, review, and refinement of the group’s long term strategies, corporate policies, and strategic roadmap.
- Ensure alignment between corporate strategy, subsidiary performance, and the holding’s long term objectives.
- Participate actively in Board discussions, providing strategic insights and well founded recommendations.
Investment, Portfolio & Project Evaluation:
- Analyze major investment opportunities, large-scale development projects, and capital initiatives across the group.
- Evaluate the economic, strategic, and risk-related dimensions of proposed projects.
- Assess and optimize the investment portfolio; provide recommendations on prioritization and resource allocation.
Business Intelligence, Market Insight & Strategic Analysis:
- Monitor business environment dynamics, industry trends, and competitive movements, translating insights into strategic options.
- Oversee strategic performance analysis based on key performance indicators (KPIs) across subsidiaries.
-Identify and assess enterprise-level strategic risks and support the design of risk mitigation strategies.
Governance, Performance & Executive Support:
- Contribute to Board level deliberations with clear, concise, and evidence-based strategic proposals.
- Monitor execution of Board-approved strategic plans and highlight any deviations or priority shifts.
-Shape market-entry strategies, evaluate new business opportunities, and support the formation of strategic partnerships and project consortia.
-Ensure corporate strategy remains aligned with market dynamics, global energy trends, and national priorities.

What You Bring:
- Proven experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy development, or organizational performance management.
- Experience evaluating investment opportunities, development projects, or large-scale capital initiatives.
- Strong skills in business environment analysis, industry trend assessment, and competitive intelligence.
- A demonstrated record of contributing to senior management or Board-level decision-making.
- Experience collaborating with executive leaders, key stakeholders, and cross-organizational teams.
- Background in industries such as energy, industrial sectors, investment holdings, or infrastructure.
- Experience analyzing strategic risks and supporting enterprise-level risk mitigation.
-Experience contributing to improvements in planning systems, decision frameworks, or corporate governance structures.
-A Master’s degree in Strategic Management or Business Administration, or in related fields.
- Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem solving skills.
Must Have:
- Proven Excastive Board-level involvement in the energy, oil & gas, power generation, or investment sectors.
