Chief Accountant

Job Description

- To direct and control a team of accountancy staff providing full accounting services for a large operating center. - Direct and control accountancy staff to ensure that they are appropriately trained and motivated and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards. - Prepare monthly financial statements, including statements of operations, balance sheets and other supporting statements in accordance with accounting standards. - Act as the significant interface with auditors in preparation of annual audits. - Maintain and improve a centralized accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively documented and managed. - Prepare the year-end accounting and taxation reports to ensure that the company compiles with legal and business requirements. - Monthly and quarterly management reporting - Stockholder engagement - Develop, maintain, and analyze accounts, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
