Job Description
Cargo & Sea Management, a well-established company in the transport and logistics industry since 2003, is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join their team in Tehran. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records while complying with regulatory requirements. As a key member of the finance team, the Chief Accountant will lead financial processes and support strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
- Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls.
- Conduct audits of financial records and reports, and collaborate with external auditors.
- Manage cash flow, financial transactions, and investment activities.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to support decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the transport and logistics sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication abilities and leadership skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
