- Protects company's value by keeping information confidential.
- Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately and accurately and prepare regular reports
- Prepare financial statements highlighting any areas of concern for the company and highlight any financial risks.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations using the data from the junior accountants.
- Assist with financial and tax audits.
- Assist and implement analysis procedures of financial statements and minimize any variances.
- Develop and monitor internal financial controls and report all the outcomes.
- Monitor service and product costing and pricing procedures in order to maximize profit returns.
- Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
- Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Understands current and proposed legislation, enforces accounting regulations, recommends new procedures
- Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of related experience
- Master's degree in Finance and Accounting
- Strong Management Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and decision making abilities
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Team working and leadership skills
- Excellent MS office Excel and word skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Competency in working with accounting software
- Good knowledge of accounting standards.
- Knowledge of legal, tax and insurance fields and regulations.
