At Farnam, we are revolutionizing the Iranian Home Service sector. As a premium online service center, we are building the future of residential and commercial property maintenance. We are seeking a highly skilled, strategically minded Business Line Owner to take end-to-end accountability for our HVAC & Mechanical Facilities vertical (heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems).


In this role, you will act as the mini-CEO of this business line, treating the vertical as your own enterprise. You will own the P&L, build and standardize our technician network, and utilize data to scale order volumes across the country.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Line Management & Portfolio Growth:
-Vertical Ownership: Develop, manage, and expand Farnam’s portfolio of HVAC and mechanical services (including central heating/cooling, chillers, split systems, plumbing, and smart climate control).
-Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, seasonal demand shifts, and customer needs to introduce high-yield, premium preventative maintenance packages.
-Strategic Growth: Design and execute aggressive strategies for order growth, geographic expansion into high-occupancy residential zones, and overall revenue enhancement.
P&L Ownership & Commercial Strategy:
-Financial Accountability: Take absolute ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) statement for the HVAC and mechanical services revenue line.
-Pricing Engineering: Analyze sales, labor, and cost data to architect competitive pricing models, seasonal promotional campaigns, and dynamic discount structures.
-Supply & Procurement: Coordinate with trusted manufacturers and B2B suppliers to manage the supply chain of high-quality spare parts, consumables, and tools required by field specialists.


Contractor Network & Quality Engineering:


-SOP Standardization: Define strict work standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and strict safety/technical guidelines for mechanical technicians.
-Performance & KPIs: Establish, track, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for internal teams and external technical contractors based on response times and first-time-fix rates.
-Skill Level Advancement: Review customer feedback data to design upskilling programs and operational guidelines that keep service levels at a premium standard.
Data Analytics & Platform Optimization
-BI & Reporting: Leverage Business Intelligence (BI) tools to monitor operational performance, evaluate localized market trends, and deliver analytical reports to executive leadership.
-Frictionless UX: Collaborate closely with internal technical and software teams to optimize the service request journey within the application, ensuring a seamless user experience.


Candidate Requirements:


-Proven Leadership: Experience leading, mentoring, and monitoring a complex business line, facility management model, or technical service network.
-Domain Familiarity: Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical facilities, building maintenance, or the home services marketplace ecosystem.
-Analytical Powerhouse: Advanced data analysis capabilities with a demonstrated knack for deriving actionable business insights from complex data sets.
-Process Engineering: Proven ability to define, optimize, and implement robust operational workflows and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
-Commercial Acumen: Strong skills in drafting commercial contracts, revenue-sharing models, and managing B2B contractor agreements.
-Project Management: Highly proficient project management skills to successfully drive cross-functional initiatives across technical, marketing, and operations teams.
