Data & BI Development and Support Specialist – Mid-Level
About the Role

Viuna ICT, a knowledge-based software company active in enterprise software development, data-driven systems, and data analytics, is looking for a Mid-Level Data & BI Specialist to join our Data & BI team.

Our team works on projects across Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, ETL, database development, and support of enterprise data systems.

We are looking for someone who combines solid technical knowledge with analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, documentation, and effective teamwork.

In this role, you will not only implement assigned tasks, but also contribute to requirements analysis, data investigation, ETL development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data solutions.

✅ Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and support Oracle Data Warehouse solutions

✅ Develop and support Business Intelligence solutions

✅ Design and develop ETL processes and data integration workflows using Oracle ODI

✅ Develop and maintain PL/SQL code

✅ Work with relational databases and different data structures

✅ Investigate and troubleshoot data, ETL, reporting, and data-process issues

✅ Contribute to the development and improvement of multiple Data & BI projects

✅ Analyze requirements, investigate data sources, and contribute to data solution design

✅ Prepare, maintain, and update technical and project documentation

✅ Collaborate with team members across multiple projects and follow technical issues through to resolution

☑️ Required Skills

☑️ At least intermediate-level proficiency in PL/SQL with practical development experience

☑️ Hands-on experience with Oracle ODI at an intermediate level

☑️ Good understanding of Data Warehouse, ETL, and Data Integration concepts

☑️ Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts and processes

☑️ Ability to analyze database structures and write complex SQL queries

☑️ Good working knowledge of Oracle Database

☑️ Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root causes of data and ETL issues

☑️ Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation and share technical knowledge

☑️ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

☑️ Strong ownership and persistence in following technical issues through to resolution

Experience with any of the following will be considered a plus:

✳️ Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) / OBIEE

✳️ Development and support of BI Dashboards and Reports

✳️ Oracle BI architecture and components

✳️ Performance Tuning for databases and ETL processes

✳️ Working with large databases and high-volume data processes

✳️ MySQL / MariaDB

✳️ Oracle APEX

✳️ Data Modeling and data structure design

✳️ Monitoring and troubleshooting tools for data and ETL processes
