Job Description

● Business Intelligence (BI) developers work collaboratively with end users to develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making. ● BI developers use data warehouse to solve organizational problems through reports, analysis and data visualization. They understand business requirements, implement proper data models, and data representation solutions. Other responsibilities will include data analysis, requiring strong SQL skills to analyze the quality of the source data to ensure correct modeling and ETL work. Data sources will include Oracle, SQL Server and potentially other databases.

Requirements

● Cleary define and document end user requirements. ● Understanding of data integration tools, ETL/ELT processes, data formatting, and warehouse architecture. ● This person should be experienced dealing with databases is that the main subject of concern is SQL queries. ● He/she will be involved in designing and building tools for online analytical processing (OLAP cubes). ● Fluent in MDX, DAX languages. ● Fluent in SSIS, SSAS (Multidimensional and Tabular). ● Familiarity with machine learning and data mining algorithms. ● Data Warehouse maintenance and development. ● Ability to develop reporting solutions utilizing Qlikview or Power Bi. ● Resolve testing issues and correct defects. ● Document any testing issues and resolutions.
