Business and System Analyst - IT consulting projects

Job Description

This position is for a full time job as a team member of IT consulting projects. The main objectives of these projects are supporting clients to use IT better as a strategic enabler. For this purpose we have to provide different type of models, road map, technical guidelines, case tools artifacts and so on. The persons who have this position have to go into details about every aspect of the organization to gather and analyze all the information that is necessary for achieving the objectives. This job has two different area of concentration. First area is information system analysis that is more focused on software development, and second area is business analysis that is more focused on business process improvement. But both should work together to make an integrated and consistent IT architecture for client. There are some common roles for both area of concentration: 1- Analyze business context of the information systems and how they meet business requirements 2- Identify main areas of improvements in business architecture and find IT solutions for them 3- Search, benchmark and analyze IT advancement trends 4- Hold meetings and workshops to identify issues and convince participants 5- Develop transition plans and manage the implementation of solutions The exclusive roles of business analysis are: 1- Define and document value chain of large-scale organizations 2- Identify, map, analyze, model and document business processes 3- Document, model and evaluate business architecture of the organization The exclusive roles of system analysis are: 1- Identify, map, analyze, model and document data flow of the organization 2- Document, model and evaluate systems architecture of the organization 3- Identify main area of improvements in systems architecture and find solutions for them 4- Identify, evaluate and document software platforms and services in IT departments 5- Research and document software technology trends
