BI Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working and organized Senior BI Developer to be responsible for the upkeep and development of warehouse data to support our business decision-making. In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions. Responsibilities: ● Provide end to end solution in BI design and development. ● Develop analytical databases, cubes and ETL processes, dashboard or reporting solutions. ● Perform data consolidation from all enterprise systems and data sources into central data marts and data warehouses for accurate reporting. ● Enable users across the organization to complete self-service reporting and analytics by developing the necessary solutions. ● Gather business requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications. ● Maintain, organize, and document database and analytical solutions. ●Troubleshoot system issues and ensures a high level of application availability. ● Evaluate existing BI platform and processes, suggest improvements, and implement changes. ● Design, build and deploy visualizations and reports in a timely fashion utilizing Power BI, Report Builder and SSRS. ● Participate in the MDM, data governance and data quality processes. ● Develop automated data audit and validation process to ensure end users are getting the right data. ● Comprehend business processes and make decisions.
