Job Description

The B2B sales manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Perform duties in alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage all corporate selling operations and activities.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performing sales team through training, empowerment, support, and effective performance management.
  • Achieve sales targets through the acquisition of new clients and growing business from existing clients.
  • Research the target industry to discover prospecting opportunities.
  • Establish sales opportunities through networking, building relationships, and conducting outdoor activities.
  • Plan and execute cold outreach in the form of emails and calls to attract new leads.
  • Prospect and qualify potential clients, leads, and referrals, identifying decision makers and delivering the ideal value propositions.
  • Attend and actively participate in regular sales meetings.
  • Conduct product demos and handle questions, rejections, and objections.
  • Facilitate communication with the assigned account manager and constant communication to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Utilize and manage customer relationship management system (CRM) to maintain all clients and lead information.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial position; 2+ years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings or presentations.
  • Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline.
  • Strong work ethic, out-going personality, and competitive nature.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
