Job Description
• Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
• Collect, separate and share manufacturing and waste costs on each period.
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Prepare financial statements needed for auditors.
• Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
• Maintaining cost accounting System
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
• Complete margin analyzes related to a company's products, inventory and its overall value.
• Calculate the costs of goods sold on the company's financial reports
• Control costs and reduce it to the minimum possible and reasonable.
• Be in constant coordination with production, maintenance and warehouse departments to collect data.
• Provide feasibility reports on plants and projects.
• Assist in month-end closing of the accounts
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Process month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity.
• Monitor and analyses accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
