Job Description

We are seeking an experienced accountant to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, have strong hands-on experience with Iranian financial and tax regulations. Experience in international or cross-border environment is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Full oversight of accounting procedures and cash flow
Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Direct responsibility for Iranian tax compliance, including:
- Corporate Income Tax (CIT)
- Value Added Tax (VAT)
- Seasonal Reports
- Social Security Organisation (SSO) audits
- Insurance and statutory reporting
Manage and oversee the preparation and maintenance of legal books in compliance with applicable tax regulations, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and reported
Coordination with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
Preparation and analysis of financial and management reports in English and Persian:
- Profit and Loss
- Average Collection Period
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow
Continuously monitor and stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies
Managing deadlines, reports, and obligations and multiple priorities
Supporting the Managing Director with financial analysis and decision-making
Be the primary contact and maintain good relationships with banks, tax office, and customers

Requirements
Graduated from reputable universities in the field of Accounting
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge of financials and accounting
Professional-level English proficiency (written, spoken, reporting)
In-depth understanding of Iranian financial and tax laws
Proficiency in accounting systems and financial softwares – Familiarity with Sepidar Accounting System is a must
