The University of Tehran Research and Technology Fund was established in 2010 through the participation of the public sector, pursuant to the authorizations granted by the Working Group of Article 100 of the Third Development Plan and Article 45 of the Fourth Economic, Social, and Cultural Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Fund operates with the objective of supporting knowledge-based and technology-driven enterprises by providing a range of services, including the issuance of financial guarantees, the granting of credit facilities, acting as a financial agent for executive agencies, and engaging in venture capital investments.
