Regarding the entrance of cage farming aquaculture industry to Iran in 2010, and sufficient human and financial resources of the company, Niksa who was previously incorporated and practicing in the field of food industry in the name of Pania, started to act in the aquaculture industry in purpose of running the largest fish farming project in the Middle East. Niksa with collaboration of the Akva Group of Norway in supplying necessary equipment and technologies could have provided the capacity of producing 5000 tonnes with the feeding barge system in Persian Gulf. The first phase of this unique project in the region with the capacity of 1000 tonnes was opened on March 2016 and the second phase will be operated on October 2016. Niksa farm will complete its production cycle in 2017 by establishing the land base project with the capacity of 5 million juveniles.
