Ramopharmin pharmaceutical company is one of the major manufacturers of pharmaceutical products in Iran. Base on its 50 years/’ experience, it plays a great role in the improvement of pharmaceutical industry in Iran. Ramopharmin was founded in 1963 under the ownership of the Jaber Ebne Hayaan Pharmaceutical Company and individual ownership. In Ramopharmin, a combination of EFQM and BSC was used in order to: • Access and compare the performance of the companies in all important aspects (not only financial) by a specific questionnaire based on EFQM model • Evaluate the trend of the changes in the performance of the companies on a yearly basis • Candidate the prepared companies for National Excellence Awards • Group the required strategies in the four perspectives of BSC • Study the cause and effect relationships between the strategies and identify lead and lag indicators • Draw the strategy map based on the results mentioned before. • Cascade down the strategic goals of the holding company (Shafa daroo) into the affiliated companies • Design inter-related management dashboard for the holding company (Shafa daroo) and the affiliated companies
