Noritazeh is a private family owned glass producer founded in 1997 by M.N. Kalafchi and partners. M.N. Kalafchi has over 60 years of experience in the glass market, mainly in trading, working with major glassware brands from Japan, France and Germany. The first furnace began production in 1999 with a capacity of 30 Tons per day and 3 press lines. Soon after, recognizing the capacity gaps in the market, Noritazeh constructed its second furnace in 2002 with a capacity of 120 Tons per day with 6 lines consisting of press, press/blow, spinning, and twin table technologies. Today Noritazeh operates 10 lines with 2 furnaces making it the second largest producer in the country producing over 100,000,000 pieces per year. Noritazeh produces a broad range of Glassware and Crystalline tableware from daily basic drink-ware to premium giftware. Our strength and focus is mainly on premium giftware. We have approximately 35 active export markets as far as South America, Africa and most of Eastern Europe. However, our main markets are our neighbour countries like Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the CIS countries. In the future, Noritazeh would be a diversified glass producer involved in other glass production activities.
