Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) is one of the first Iranian offshore General Contractors. IOEC was established in 1993 to fabricate and install production facilities necessary for oil and gas industry. In 2004, the Office for Consultants and Contractors Affairs in the Management and Planning Organization (MPO) of Iran described IOEC as a “Grade One Contractor in the Field of Petroleum, Gas and Petrochemical Industries (marine installations included).” Since then, IOEC has successfully expanded its offshore services executing projects with a full marine fleet, supporting pipe-laying, heavy lift installation, hook-up and commissioning. Today through its rapid expansion and achievements, IOEC has evolved into an oil and gas EPCIC contractor operating at national and international levels. The company is capable of providing services in offshore and onshore projects domestically and internationally with complete Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning capabilities for turnkey platform, pipe-laying and other projects. In addition, IOEC has now entered onshore and offshore drilling activities, EPD, and is pursuing possibilities to enter renewable energy markets. Furthermore in 2018, the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum (MOP) announced that IOEC has met the requirements for establishing itself as an E&P company. Marine and offshore activities management is our strength. IOEC is expanding and developing its marine spread capacity in partnership with international companies. In fact since 2014, implementing simultaneous offshore operations, including load out, transport, installation and commissioning of various turnkey projects, has become a routine for the company.
