History of Darvash Company
The name of Darvash Company, which is derived from the name of a medicinal plant, was founded in 1965 by three pharmacists. In the beginning, the main goal of the company was to take a step towards hospital services, so it received the representation of the American West Chemical Company and started importing disinfectants (disinfectants). We started with iodine compounds, which at that time were a completely new step in disinfecting surgeons 'hands and patients' skin before surgery.
In this direction, a lot of effort was made to produce these compounds in Iran. After three years, social crises arose and pushed the country on the path of revolution, and naturally the company's work was in crisis for a year and a half, but we did not give up and worked hard for such products. At the same time, the Iraq war started and there was a great need for such products, and the Ministry of Health cooperated with us as much as possible so that we could find a faster way to produce such products. After years of effort, in addition to these compounds, we came to produce laboratory kits. Until then, these products were imported from abroad, and we ourselves, with the permission of the German company Human, imported the kits of that company, and then proceeded to the production direction. We are proud to be the leader in the production of such complex medical products in the country. In addition to those products, we started relying on the personal and specialized knowledge of the company's scientific group to produce microbial culture media in the basic, differential and specialized sectors, despite the economic difficulties and raw materials with a modern technique a few years ago. We have also called for the convenience of hematology services. Darvash Company also strives to provide defibrillated sheep blood and rabbit plasma to be up to date according to laboratory standards. Also, this Company in the external quality control department (EQAS) .This was done from 2010 to 2011. We hold specialized Microbiology classes to promote scientific content, and the Company is the only company that does this. This company has an activity license from the Ministry of Industry and Mines Department of Medical Devices Iran and It has ISO 13485 standard in Medical equipment. This Company has an experienced staff to produce basic and specialized products of medical Microbiology and products of Hematology properties and we produce.
