Alborz Investment Group began its activity in 1966 with a focus on production and distribution of medicines, detergents and foodstuff. From the beginning of its activity, the company demonstrated its capabilities as a leading and innovative group. Among the most important companies of Alborz Investment Group in 1970s decades are Tolid Daroo, Iran Daroo, KBC, which are manufacturers of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and health products with famous brands of the world, Toli Pers, the first manufacturer of washing powder with Iranian brand (Shooma and Darya), Keyvan, one of the most famous confectionery companies, and Pakhsh Alborz with the broadest distribution network in the field of health products in the country. In recent years, the major strategy of Alborz Investment Group has been the focus on medicine industry and exit from other activities. Based on this strategy, a full chain consisting of production of raw materials and distribution of products has been developed in the Group companies. Alborz Investment Group, as the first investment company to be admitted in Stock Exchange, with more than 18,000 real and legal shareholders, 13 subsidiary companies (which are reputable companies admitted in Stock Exchange), and over 3200 skilled and experienced personnel, has undertaken a considerable part of production and supply of medicines in the country.
