Yazd Industrial and Constructional Steel Rolling Mill was established in 1996 following upstream expansion plans of the Yazd Manufacturing and Industrial Group (since 1980) by private investment after elimination of legal barriers for presence of non-governmental companies in this sector. The initial investment involved a rebar rolling mill near city of Yazd.
