Gabric Diabetes Education Association is an Iranian NGO founded by key physicians, benefactors and motivated type 1 diabetics. Our mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes via education, awareness-raising and establishing motivation. Providing a truly unique model of a diabetes school, Gabric been selected as the best practice of diabetes education in MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. GDEA has more than 70,000 members, 15 different educational modules, special program for education of children with diabetes (Keepo Adventures) and running the innovative national diabetes educational program called Insulin, My Friend.
