Job Description

- Communicates and negotiates with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals - Find new suppliers to fulfil the demand of customers based on the companies’ strategy and requirements - Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements - Identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments. - Coordinates and oversees to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions. - Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products. - Collaborates with other departments and to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply process - Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply process - Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production. - Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply process - Forecast material costs or develop standard cost lists. - Estimate cost or material requirements. - Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance. - Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance

Requirements

- At least 5 years of management experience in the field of supply - B.A/ M.A in industrial engineering/ management - High level of awareness of the supplier market environment across all areas is essential. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills - Strong supervisory and leadership skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Access
