Job Description

-Seeking in open market business for the bulk fleet voyage and/or T/C basis -Develop the cargo book (spot and COA) within the guidelines set by management team -Manage, develop and own relationships with cargo brokers and customers ensuring MA Group can develop on and off market fixing/cargo opportunities -Communicate constantly with customers and brokers involved with import/export from the target region to secure voyage and T/C business. Manage info flows and external communication with market participants -Recognize key trades/cargo flows -Develop and expand strong and long-term relationships with cargo customers and brokers -Execute business accurately, clearly, effectively and efficiently -Preparation and calculations for fixtures and negotiation on terms & conditions -Strictly implement procedures for executing fixtures, monitoring and reporting on vessel performance and communicate underlying variances -Processing of payments as per C/P -Recognize and understanding all freight/hire pricing constituents: port costs, bunker costs, market levels -Develop an effective network with customers and having regular meetings with them in Iran or abroad -Prepare and calculate shipping related reports as per requirement -Assist with preparation of daily, weekly and monthly management reporting

Requirements

-Minimum 2 years of related experience -Deep understanding of shipping -Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills -Self-motivated and disciplined -Ability to work under strict deadlines and in a fast-paced environment -Must be willing to work unusual/extended hours (including weekend) -Bachelor Degree of Science -Good Command of English
