Job Description
- Implement develop and monitor QHSE Management System, Plans and Safe Work Procedures in all various projects, bases and offices. Promote the QHSE Management System by follow-up leadership example rules and procedures. - Promote a strong awareness and personal responsibility for QHSE with all management and supervisory personnel. - Review Company activities and ensure compliance with QHSE Policies, QHSE Plans and Procedures. - Ensure that Contractor QHSE activities comply with Company & Contractor QHSE Policies & Plans, conform to the terms & conditions of the Contract and meet local statutory QHSE regulations. - Establish, monitor and analyze QHSE reports and statistics. Compile and publish QHSE statistics and communicate to all management and personnel - Ensure that emergency preparedness and response plans are developed, documented, implemented and tested. - Implement and execute QHSE training plan for Company QHSE and other personnel. - Lead RA & JSA and studies and ensure results are addressed as work is executed. Develop specific safety procedures with the Site Team to address identified risks and challenges. - Organize and facilitate training, drills and exercises for emergency preparedness and response. - Ensure that Company QHSE performance requirements are included in all contract documents. - Follow up NCR , near miss, incident/accident investigations to ensure close-out or recommendations to prevent recurrence and ensure communications of results across Company and Contractor workforce. - Promote QHSE-related lessons learnt and the exchange of QHSE information across Company and Contractor workforce with the goal of achieving higher QHSE awareness. - Any other QHSE related duties that may be required by Top Manager
Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English. effective written and oral skills. Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Oil &Gas Industry preferably in drilling & Waste Management services. Strong QHSE commitment and willingness to be a proactive QHSE role model and leader Highly motivated, self-starting individual with ability to work unsupervised in a high activity environment and achieve results through strong leadership and motivation. Competent and experienced in developing, documenting and implementing comprehensive QHSE Management Systems. Competent and experienced in effective management of an QHSE Team - office and site Pragmatic approach to problem solving Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Assurance practices, processes and standards Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Medical practices, processes and standards Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard Comprehensive knowledge of OHSAS 18001: 2007 occupational Health and Safety Standard Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard Professional communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics Having related certifications is preferred Fluent in English
