Role description:
● Configure, optimize, and support Oracle and Postgres relational databases with a focus on reliability, availability, scalability, and maintainability.
● Develop and implement complex database systems, programs, and applications.
● Develop, and maintain transactional databases and data warehouses.
● Document the database environment.
● Create and maintain SQL stored procedures.
● Manage and maintain the databases, perform troubleshooting and tuning when necessary.
● Collaborate with developers and provide suggestions on how to improve database planning.
● Participate in the design/planning of new databases and related technology.
● Understand data warehouse design and BI expressions.
