Job Description

The job holder will identify needs, implement and facilitate learning solutions which will enable the operations organization to develop and support continuously improving business performance. The job scope will range from meeting the learning needs of individuals to developing a learning strategy supporting the Operations organization. Roles and Responsibilities: - Establish & identify the operations learning & development requirements of the company's strategic business plan to promote desired business results to be achieved - Diagnose individual and team competence gaps across the operations function to assess quality of operations talent pool, promote targeted learning and development initiatives and ensure cost effective solutions to meet requirements - Develop coaching competence & culture within the operations function to promote a positive learning climate and ensure learning outputs are directly relevant to local organizational requirements - Plan & implement development solutions to provide the opportunity for people and teams to learn and improve their performance and ensure BAT best practices are consistently applied & integrated into local organization - Evaluate learning outcomes from the development solutions to ensure that results are achieved cost effectively, provide feedback on the effectiveness & efficiency of development programmes and monitor & support individuals & teams as they progress through development programmes - Maintain learning & development budget to ensure that resources are used in the most effective and efficient manner - Facilitate development programmes to ensure that learning objectives are agreed & achieved and create & manage a pool of competent facilitators

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Operations function as talent development or training manager (preference for both Production and Supply Chain experience). - Demonstrated the capacity and interest to integrate the need for business results with a people oriented approach Technical Knowledge: - Operations expertise (Production and/or Supply Chain experience - preference for both) - Competency assessment (individual & organizational) - Good computer literacy - Competent spoken and written English Principal Competencies - Influencing - Coaching skills - Facilitation skills - Resource management - Learning process and design - Content expertise in Operations Skills - Change management - Team working
