Job Description

Position Overview:

The information security engineer is responsible for protecting the organization’s technology assets and data by identifying vulnerabilities, detecting threats, responding to incidents, and strengthening security measures. The role involves daily security operations, collaboration with IT teams, and staying updated on threat intelligence. This position offers opportunities to enhance business continuity and risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Operations: Manage vulnerabilities across all tech assets, operate an SIEM solution for threat monitoring, analyze security incidents, enable log aggregation for investigations, and develop response plans for security incidents.
• Security Hardening: Guide teams on secure infrastructure building, conduct application security testing, perform penetration tests, and design secure network architecture.
• Security Automation: Enhance endpoint protection policies, integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, develop automated responses to threats, and provide recommendations for security tool procurement.
• Awareness Building: Conduct security awareness training, provide guidance on security controls to teams, evaluate projects for security expertise, and maintain knowledge of cyber risks and compliance needs.

Salary and Benefits:
