Job Description

Objective of the role: - To handle a variety of finance and accounting operations aside with Finance Manager. Prepare business forecasts, budgeting and periodic reporting, dealing with auditors, tax, and supervising different teams in the Finance Department. List of responsibilities: - Annual financial statement preparation - Monthly financial reports for the management and group - Participate in the preparation of annual operating/capital budgets, monthly budgets, and forecasts - Participation in Business Planning preparation - Controlling of different businesses profitability - Review and analysis of GL accounts, financial data, and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results - Create timely and accurate accounting reports and present them to company executives and senior management - Develop recommendations to optimize company accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies - Support and consult company personnel on accounting control procedures, manage seniors and supervisors, plan their work, and assign tasks - Take part in forecasting and financial standards setting processes, department’s setting goal activities, and month/year-end close processes - Support and oversee audit and tax audits (both internal and external) and tax returns - Ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP/IRFS requirements and work together with Finance Manager to optimize financial operations.

Requirements

Background: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance fields (Master will be considered a PLUS) - 5 years of experience as Finance, Accounting Manager, or Business Controller - In-depth knowledge of accounting principles - Reports and forecast standards - Profound experience with typical accounting procedures - Good experience with general ledger and the month/year-end close processes - Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IRFS - Good practical experience with accounting software packages - Good working knowledge of financial accounting statements and business trends - Good understanding of MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with accuracy and attention to details - ACCA, CIMA or CPA Certification will be considered a PLUS Soft Skills and Personality traits: - An absolute team-oriented person - Strong verbal and written communication - Customer service skills and good ability to multitask - Well organized with and analytical mind and attention to detail - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines - Able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
