We are seeking a highly skilled CTO. The CTO will be responsible for the company's technology strategy and with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company. The CTO will be responsible for managing the technology budget and costs while making investments to align the company with their vision for its technological needs. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological development. You will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company. Responsibilities: - Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company, aligned with revenue growth objectives. - Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in service delivery. - Defining technology and architectural standards for the company aligned with the group technology strategy and standards. - Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements. - Ensuring that technology delivery complies with technology and architectural standards. - Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs. - Outline the goals for research and development. - Managing and growing a high performing technology organisation. - Developing technical competency and skills within the team through effective personal development activities. - Staying on top of technology trends and developments, acting as technology leadership for the company.. - Define, enhance and enforce technology delivery methodology, standards and practices to ensure consistency and compliance. - Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory and information security standards.
