Job Description

• To recommend the most appropriate types of creative arts to use, as well as the most effective techniques and campaigns for all internal and external communication channels. • To check advert creative design, text and content prior to release in all external communication channels; • To partner with internal customers (marketers) to secure actionable marketing input, synthesize and communicate creative needs to Creative Services • To provide feedback to the creative agency on creative assignments, working closely with the senior management team to ensure the goals and objectives of each assignment are on target. • To share and document past learning experiences and participate in strategic discussions, demonstrating knowledge of the competitive landscape • To maintain consistency in campaign implementation from look and feel point of view and ensure CI implementation of campaigns. • To identify and screen new creative development agencies, determining appropriate agency for assignment. • To develop creative briefs, leveraging input from internal partners. • To review and approve all creative development, ensuring accuracy and consistency of content and branding. • To provide comments/opinions of each concept as it relates to the assignment and the competitive landscape. • To ensure agency deliverables are meeting goals and objective of the assignment at each round of creative review, • To facilitate review and approval process of creative items with Legal, internal partners and other areas as appropriate. • To ensure development of full copy to final release of files within specified timeframes. • To follow artwork production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements. • To review and approve creative developments like OOH, product naming, internal communication letters, print materials, lay out of booths, SMS texts & website banners & texts & ensuring accuracy and consistency of content and branding for MTNIrancell. • To work with the brand team to understand each campaigns business objectives and advertising tactics; • To collaborate with project leads to understand the business direction for strategic marketing programs, and effectively communicate the direction to the agency and internal creative team for the creative development. • To Liaise with the creative agency team to design creative appealing advert campaigns; • To present proposals on creative and production plans and cost schedules to brand team

Requirements

• BS in Commerce (Marketing / Communication) or related • Art degree would be preferable. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others • Experience working in a medium to large organization
