Job Description
Develop, prepare, facilitate, and support HSE risk assessments • Monitor HSE progress of HSE Improvements • Organize and/or carry out HSE inspections, HSE internal audits and sub-contractor audits • Investigate incidents. Analyze, assess corrective measures, and monitor implementation of corrective measures • Organizes and/or carry out HSE training and familiarization of company personnel, including vessel crews • Maintain HSE Management System • Respond to and provide support during emergencies and drills • Ensure compliance with reporting and documentation requirements for safety and environmental regulations. • Participate in planning meetings, review and approval of planned work; screening of new chemicals and materials
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related degree. • At least 2 years practical experience at sea • 2 to 5 years HSE experience in the Oil & Gas, Offshore and/or Shipping industry • Well understanding of HSE Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel is required • Strong documentation and organizational skills • Ability to develop a strong working relationship with leadership and operation level employees • Ability to work independently with limited oversight • Ability to co-ordinate multiple activities • Good Knowledge of written and spoken in English
