Job Description

● To translate organization strategies into regional tasks in access transmission domain and harmonize regional developments with company business requirements. ● To manage interface with providers of leased capacity often in adversarial situations and manage supplier relations to be aligned with traffic growth and OPEX saving strategies. ● To manage delivery of physical connectivity according to topology and access plan. ● To manage process of building additional access capacity for transmission using appropriate technologies (fiber, and microwave) or leased facilities to avoid bottlenecks in transmission network. ● To develop and establish policies for deployment of equipment in a best and optimum way aligned with network growth requirements and technology. ● To develop and update detailed access configuration designs (route sizes, upgrades and etc.) to meet network ever-changing requirements. ● To manage development of equipment configurations to be ordered and supplied from supplier(s). ● To develop appropriate installation and commissioning procedures of access transmission equipment, microwave links, routers etc. and ensure proper implementation of them. ● To conduct research, benchmark and investigate alternative technologies and provide the management with new access transmission solutions. ● To monitor performance of MW links, routers and all layer 2/3 links and access routers and multiple turnkey vendors before the handover to NW operations to avoid performance issues in the network. ● To prepare proper solution for problematic sites all over regions to optimize access transmission area. ● To balance requirements and demands from multiple internal/external customers and project managers by prioritizing different requirements to ensure all requirements of network will be addressed according to policies. ● To interface with multiple POI providers and adapt developed plans according to availability of capacities and facilities. ● To work closely with CPG in management of access transmission network modernization and MW link expansion as well as layer 3 development in the network. ● To monitor and guide the planning and implementation programs of turnkey providers for the access transmission network. ● To ensure budget for both capital and operational expenditure is not exceeded. ● Interface with Regulatory on allocation of frequencies to expand network through extra spectrum achievable and avid out of band interference by/ to MTN Irancell network.
