The position:

As an ERP system IT architect at Novo Nordisk, you will be critical in bridging the gap between our chosen vendor solutions and our business needs. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to successfully implement and maintain IT solutions that support our affiliate and Local Manufacturing Team (LMT).

As an IT architect at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Solution Understanding and Integration: Develop a deep understanding of the chosen vendor solution and how it aligns with business processes. Ensure the solution works effectively for both Affiliate and LMT
  • Vendor Collaboration: Serve as a primary contact for the vendor, facilitating clear communication and understanding between users and the vendor. Collaborate with the vendor to ensure the technical soundness and integrity of the solution.
  • Technical Leadership: Take a specialist role in all activities from technical concept definition to solution maintenance and operations. Provide necessary information for informed decision-making about technology choices.
  • Business Process Alignment: Understand business goals, strategies, and processes to align technical solutions with business objectives. Identify and assess technical opportunities and challenges that can impact the product's success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Build consensus and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and analyze technical problems, evaluate potential solutions, and make data-driven decisions that align with product goals.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure timely, within-budget delivery of high-quality solutions.


  • 3 to 5 years of related experience within the ERPs.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and analyze technical problems, evaluate potential solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Possesses a global mindset and cross-cultural understanding, with the ability to operate and achieve results in a virtual international IT environment.
  • Full working proficiency in both oral and written English.
