To manage Billing, Rating and invoicing needs related to telecom carrier and service partners to deliver service and cost base improvement globally as well as on-time rating updates, Invoice set up and invoicing customers. COMPANY: Is our affiliate In Canada is looking to strengthen VOIP/ TDM wholesale team with an experienced Billing and Rating Management Expert, based in Toronto or Online (at your home, over the net). Your Opportunity The Billing and Rating Management Expert, is a member of the Carrier Relations team and reports to the Global Director Carrier Relations (COMPANY CEO as acting at moment). As a Billing and Rating Management Expert you will be responsible for rating, billing and invoicing of all services in the designated area. You will identify and establish new and continuously optimize existing rate tables with carriers / providers of connectivity related telecommunication services (e.g. Internet access, Ethernet access, back-haul, collocation, hardware and installation services) in order to enable COMPANY to offer an unrivaled service portfolio with meaningful margin and on-time invoicing; and the most extensive footprint. Your primary tasks in this position will be to: » Establish and develop relationships and service level agreements with ISP, Carriers, and Telecom organizations; » Drive an optimized cost base of the carrier / provider services by setting up and maintaining an optimal mix of carriers / providers per market, and by leading effective rating tables and implementing innovative commercial models; » Consistently assess COMPANY's cost profile with its providers and identify and implement rating initiatives which will result in cost savings; » Lead rating negotiations and rate updates with the providers and implement update rate table of the company, Carriers and Providers as well as define, implement and update Retail rate tables. Key items are service specifications, pricing, service levels, licenses, processes and terms & conditions; » Translate services of carriers / providers into proposals for standard COMPANY Portfolio services (including pricing and terms) within the rules as defined by Product Management; » Regularly review the operational and commercial performance of the carriers / providers, initiate improvements and change carrier / provider preferences where required; » Keep track of new developments in the designated region, in terms of available service technologies, pricing, service levels, and regulatory environment; » To support sales with commercial projects where additional services/solutions and/or special commercial conditions from carriers /providers are required; » Act as main interface between COMPANY technical team and carrier partners and support operational escalations (e.g. with regard to procurement, provisioning, billing and rating, invoicing or finance). » To drive for optimized cost base by implementing innovative business models and rate tables with service partners and to achieve cost saving target » To keep abreast of the market environment change, identify and recruit new service partners for driving cost reduction and performance improvement. Billing and Rating Management Expert also: » supports commercial/ Marketing teams for Retail expansions; traffic trading; bid management and liaise with partners for the best price performance solutions. » Supports escalation to carriers service partners on discrepancies when necessary. » Monitors progress of own actions and other team actions so as to meet business objectives » Analyses range of issues in identifying problems & their impact within sphere of activity (rating or invoicing issues/complexities/r conflicts) » Develops solutions, makes decisions and implements actions for routine problems » Shares knowledge, ideas and results within own team and other groups » Assists with the development of business processes.

Requirements

Your Profile » You have a Minimum Bachelors or University degree or equivalent in Telecommunications; Business administration, Finance or accounting; » You are result driven, creative, persistent, quality driven and hold a strong commercial sense; » You have 3+ years of working experience in the telecommunications carriers business and industry in a similar position in billing and rating discipline. ; at least one year VOIP wholesale rating/invoicing experience is necessary. » You have full knowledge of data communications/ TDM and IP services and of the underlying network and access technologies (e.g. SDH, SONET, Ethernet, Network routing, VOIP, Wholesale/Retail traffic billing and rating, etc.); » You are experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts; » You are comfortable in a high-paced dynamic, or stressful work environment; » Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Additional languages, like French, German, Mandarin or Spanish will be preferred.
