Job Description
As VMware Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support of VMWARE servers with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.
● General overall knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure hardware, application and services (servers, storages, networking).
● Provide Backup and restore VMWare servers and virtual sessions.
● Upgrade and Maintain VMWare ESX servers and virtual sessions.
● Install, and administer VMware products.
● Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.
● Performance and capacity management on VMWare servers and complex health check-ups.
● Ensure the Service Requests and all pre-requisite checks are followed diligently.
● Monitor IT infrastructure and computer networks for errors, malfunctions and security violations.
● Troubleshooting user level issues.
● Participation in Major/Severity incidents for resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for the Major incidents.
