
Job Description
Develop and execute project plans, schedules and budgets for all assigned development projects. Prepare feasibility study reports for development projects. Undertake land use valuation analysis including financial feasibility for projects. Assist in the preparation of financial packages. Keep up-to-date on local competition, market conditions and relevant development by-laws, regulations, and guidelines. Assist in the city approval process for land use change for public and private sector clients. Prepare project objectives, pro formas and project schedules for approval by senior management; provide necessary updates as required. Balance profit maximization while maintaining development quality. Manage projects to meet critical dates and quality requirements. Ensure that relevant development information is provided to project team members in a timely manner. Develop and maintain effective relationships with partners, consultants, community stakeholders, and government authorities. Prepare project monthly reports as required. Assist in the preparation of client correspondence, site inspection reports and Power Point presentations. Other duties as required.
Requirements
Masters degree in Urban Planning, Economics, Civil Engineering or related subjects. Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a similar position. Displays a solutions driven approach Excellent organizational skills with eye for detail Process and compliance orientation Client orientation, and orientation to servicing internal clients Good communication skills both written and oral, negotiation skills Analytical thinking and problem solving. Command over excel, word and power point Working level written and spoken fluency in English
